Cheers for the Hare
One of our most popular books in recent times is The Year of the Hare, but this tale about an unassuming yet enigmatic and inspirational hare may well have led us to forget about the plight of this animal in this country - until we had a call from The Hare Preservation Trust. Annette Tait, one of the staff at the entirely volunteer-run Trust, filled us in on what they are doing for hares in Britain - and further afield. We are delighted to announce that from later this week, all sales of the book direct from their shop will include a 10% donation to the Trust. Annette also has her own blog here here.
